The
Pepper Pike Civic League is an independent, non-partisan, nonprofit
organization. Its goals include promoting good government, supplying
information pertinent to government affairs, providing a conduit for
interaction between Pepper Pike residents and government entities, and
encouraging citizens to take an informed and active interest in the
activities of their government and their community.
Programs and activities
include:
Hosting
the annual Town Hall Meeting “Energy Future of Pepper Pike” (April 20,2010) where residents can hear from and question Pepper Pike officials and other
invited experts.
Hosting an annual Candidates &
Issues Forum (October 2010), where candidates for local and state offices and
advocates on ballot issues speak.
Maintaining an awareness of
government activities by assigning its Trustees to attend meetings of the Pepper
Pike City Council and the Orange School Board.
Engaging in various activities
with the City and the School District to promote the general well-being of
the community.
Publishing an annual Directory
of Community Services that is distributed to all residents and retail
businesses.
Hosting this informational web
site.
The
Pepper Pike Civic League is funded entirely by the $15 annual dues of its
members. Its Officers and Trustees serve without compensation.The League
embraces the diversity of the community and does not discriminate on race,
religion, national origin or other basis
The
Pepper Pike Civic League encourages all residents in the community to become
active by joining it and/or seeking other opportunities to serve the
community.
